Sue Ballantyne
Over 40 years ago the first flower wreaths were made by Sue Ballantyne for her daughters to wear during Alpenfest in Gaylord, Michigan. Soon, everyone wanted a flower crown and the name Blumenkranz (meaning flower crown) was born. Now years later, more than 20,000 flower crowns have been enjoyed by people all over the world. Sue's legacy is carried on by her daughter Kristi and her nieces Kathy and Jen.
